Avata 360 is a hybrid 360 FPV drone, not a second Avata 2: dual 1/1.1-inch sensors, 8K/60 in 360 mode, 4K/60 single-lens, omni + LiDAR in 360 mode only. Heliguy’s split is the one to keep — pick 360 if reframing the whole sphere is the product; pick Avata 2 for traditional FPV, 4K/100 and ND filters. DroneXL files it as the 8K 360 lane next to Avata 2 goggle flying. You would notice the extra 78 g, the rotating camera, and that obstacle sensing drops to forward-only in single-lens mode.

Do I need to register the Avata 360 in the UK?

Avata 360 is C1, takeoff about 455 g (Approx. 455 g with guards. C1. Weigh the unit you fly.). In the UK a Flyer ID is required from 100 g, and an Operator ID is required from 100 g with a camera or from 250 g — this airframe needs both. How far from people can I fly the Avata 360 in the UK?

Which controller or headset flies the Avata 360?
