Avata 2 is an FPV drone with a 1/1.3-inch super-wide, goggles and motion control — not a Mini with a funny controller. Gadget Scout gives it fun-per-pound. Comparisons with Mini 5 Pro only make sense as ‘which flying is this’: cinematic locked-off Mini versus tight POV. You would notice everything, including the goggles on your face.

Do I need to register the Avata 2 in the UK?
Avata 2 is C1, takeoff about 377 g (With built-in propeller guards.). In the UK a Flyer ID is required from 100 g, and an Operator ID is required from 100 g with a camera or from 250 g — this airframe needs both. Which controller or headset flies the Avata 2?
DJI Motion Controller 3 (Motion (FPV), O4); DJI FPV Remote Controller 3 (FPV sticks, O4); DJI Goggles 3 (Headset, O4+); DJI Goggles N3 (Headset, O4). A matching OcuSync generation is not enough — firmware on a used RC still has to list this airframe. Full matrix on the Gear page.
